Rachel lives just north of Boston, MA, with her husband, three boys, and two Border Collies. In between knitting sessions, she also works as a private tutor in high school math and science, teaches dog training classes, and competes in dog agility with Gromit. (Baby dog Clewe is still in training.)
A life-long knitter, she published her first pattern in 2009. Her philosophy about knitting: it should be fun for the knitter, and create beautiful, useful finished pieces. She loves to experiment with new shapes and stitches, bending the knitting to her purpose.
